"Hey, _______, what do you think the baby will look like?" Mathias asked as he cuddled with you on the the couch. Squeezing his hand, you told him, "I don't know, but I hope (he/she) will have your blue eyes."

"I want (him/her) to have your beautiful (e/c) eyes. But it doesn't really matter, because I'm sure (he/she) will be adorable anyway. It is our little (prince/princess) after all!"

You chuckled at his spirit. You two had been married for a year now, and the married life has been absolutely wonderful! Mathias had been quite sweet and protective, trying to make sure you were happy and getting you what you wanted. Even your cravings for strange foods. And when you had become moody, he and his brothers were there to comfort you.
You smiled as you remembered the time when his brothers had found out that you were pregnant.

~Flashback Time~

You and Mathias were having dinner with his brothers, Tino, Berwald, Lukas, and Emil. When you all finished dinner, you cleared your throat, making everyone look at you.

"I'm pregnant." you announced.

You waited for them to process what you just said and when they did, they all started to congratulate you.

"Congratulations!" Tino said cheerfully while Berwald simply said "Hmm" and gave you a thumbs up. Lukas congratulated you in his monotone voice and Emil said he was happy for you.

"Thank you everyone." you said smiling at them. Mathias stood up and shouted, "The king of Northern Europe is going to have a little (prince/princess)! and started laughing boisterously.

Let's just say that night ended up with everyone trying to keep a certain Norwegian from choking a certain Dane.

~Flashback End~

While you were reminiscing about that night, you felt something kick. Surprised, your hands immediately went to your stomach.

Mathias noticing this, immediately asked, "What is it _______?"

"T-the baby," you stuttered, "I felt the baby kick!"

"What?" Mathias exclaimed, "Where?"

You took his hands and gently placed them on the spot where you felt the kick. "C'mon (prince/princess), kick again!". As though hearing his demand, the baby kicked again.

"(He/She) kicked, _______! (He/She) kicked! I think the baby likes me!" Mathias exclaimed.

"Of course the baby likes you, you are (his/her) father." you said, amused by his reaction. The two of you spent the morning cuddling on the couch.

You sat on a chair, reading a book, waiting for Mathias to finish cooking lunch. You grimaced when you felt pain run through you. You had been getting quite a lot of contractions lately. You stood up to put the book back in the shelf when you felt water run down your legs.

"AHHHHH!" you screamed.

"_______?!" Mathias shouted, worried.

"Mathias! My water broke!"

Mathias immediately abandoned the lunch he was about to serve, ran to get you, and quickly drove to the hospital.

Some time later, you were lying in one of the hospital beds, in labor. The Dane had called his brothers and his friends to give you moral support. Mathias had stayed by your side the whole time you were in labor, squeezing your hand to reassure you.

After some time, the nurse began to see the head of the child and started to pull out your baby.

"IT HURTS! IT HURTS SO MUCH!" you screamed.

Mathias squeezed your hand tightly. It killed him to see you in pain like this!

A baby's cry was heard after a while. Tears of joy and relief escaped your eyes and you turned to give your beloved Dane a shaky smile. The blonde returned your smile and reassured you that everything was going to be alright.

The nurse handed to you a small moving bundle. "Congratulations Mrs. Køhler. Its a healthy (boy/girl)." she said, smiling at you.

You gratefully took the bundle from her and cradled it in your arms.

"What should we name her, skat?" Mathias asked. "_______. We'll name (him/her) _______."

" That's a wonderful name. Mathias said, smiling. "Go rest _______. You deserve it." he said, taking the bundle from you.

You nodded tiredly and drifted to sleep, thinking about the wonderful family you now had.
